Emergency First Aid at Work with a free upgrade to FALP level 3

Crown’s first aid course has been designed for frontline operational security officers and police officers whose primary role is dealing with the public.

The First Aid Learning Programme (FALP) was originally designed for frontline police officers, custody sergeants, detention officers and support personnel responsible for the care of detainees

Our trainers focus on the principles of basic first aid procedures and basic life support. Our programme addresses a range of medical incidents that security and police officers may be expected to deal with in an operational capacity and has been approved by the National Police Chiefs Council (NPCC) lead for first aid.

Crown’s FALP 3 course exceeds the standards of the HSE’s Emergency First Aid at work, covering the below topics:

  • Managing an unresponsive casualty
  • CPR – Using an AED on both adults and children
  • Combining AED use with CPR
  • Haemorrhage control
  • Incident management
  • Ligatures
